Melvin asked me to marry him! It was so romantic. I went to visit him in Elizabethtown, KY and on Friday May 22, 2009 he pooped the question!! :) He wanted to take me star gazing but it was so cloudy that there was no stars in the sky (there was only like 6 or 7). We were walking around the grass (he was be hide me holding me) by this big beautiful field and he was singing me the song he wrote for me (when he was at boot camp). The very last line in the song is "I want you to be mine forever all of time". After he said that he bent down to "tie his shoe" and when I turned around he was on one knee and with my ring and said "will you marry me"? I was so shocked I couldn't even say yes let alone anything else!!! I just fell to my knees and through my arms around him and cried a little bit. After like a minute of me not saying anything...he said "you have to say yes." I still couldn't say anything so he said "you have to say yes" (still being to happy to talk) I just shock my head yes.
